It provided with state of art infrastructure in terms of its blocks of buildings, which include cozy, comfortable and well-furnished departments, laboratories, classrooms for students, separate quarters for staff and nurses besides equipment of latest technological quality. The institution backed by highly qualified and experienced staff, well equipped laboratories, library and modern teaching aids.

At present the hospital has 1,200 teaching beds with states of art operation theaters. Besides there are intensive care beds with 24 hours hi-tech trauma care facility, serving a wide cross section of community, belonging to every economic segment of society.

Central Library

This library, a “Knowledge Resource Centre” is located in an independent building, in a three storeyed building. This library is well designed, central air conditioned, with fire alarm, fully equipped with furniture & with a pleasant atmosphere. The layout of and floor area of each floor is 1393 Sq.mts.

Hostel

There are separate hostel facilities for both men and women students, with 500 single rooms available inside the campus to accommodate undergraduate and postgraduate students in medical and other disciplines.

Laboratories

laboratories provide practical exposure to multiple subjects and give an opportunity to the students to experiment with what they have learnt in classrooms. The laboratories in each department, the Central Research Laboratory (CRL) is established to provide centralized research infrastructure to benefit investigators in multiple disciplines across MMCHRI.

Auditorium

A high tech auditorium with a seating capacity of 2000 members is built in 41,500 Sq ft. The auditorium is well-designed with modern audio visual enabled air-conditioned auditorium theatre with Dolby stereo surround system. All major functions, including Convocation, International conferences, CDE programs, annual cultural program and college day function are conducted in the auditorium.

Meenakshi Medical College houses a huge multipurpose ground which facilitates sports such as Cricket and Football. In addition to this the college has Volleyball, basketball and Throwball Courts. Sports facilities for track and field athletics are available in the campus for conducting intracollege competitions and events. The Students are usually guided and trained under the supervision of Physical trainers and they have excelled in the inter College medical sports meet and sports fest.
