Welcome to Mamata Educational Society, one of the pioneers in providing health care and education located at the heart of the town Khammam in state of Telangana.
Mamata Educational Society came into existence in May 1992 after tireless efforts of our founder, architect and a great visionary Sri Puvvada Nageswara Rao, who is a renowned politician and social worker and by dedication educationist and philanthropist of repute.
It is under the unflagging enthusiastic and magnanimous leadership of the Chairman of Mamata Educational Society, Sri Puvvada Ajay Kumar, younger son of our founder, who tenderly nurtured and expedited our educational and healthcare institutes.

Mamata Educational Society had initiated its work with the 410-bedded Mamata Academy of Medical Sciencesand Hospital; is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, Telangana with 150 M.B.B.S seats for the academic year 2022-23 ; and is recognised by NMC for conducting undergraduate and post graduate medical courses. Government of Telangana State has issued an Essentiality Certificate for establishment of its Medical College.

Infrastructure

The Mamata Educational Society has constructed spacious buildings for the Mamata Academy of Medical Sciences Hospital. Mamata Academy of Medical Sciences provides all the facilities that are required for the primary to tertiary health care facilities. Out Patient Department: All the departments like General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, OBG, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, E.N.T., TBCD, Dermatology, Psychiatry have their OPD facilities with separate male and female examination rooms. Student demonstration rooms are provided adjacent to every OPD for clinical demonstrations.

Eligibility & Admission Process

Eligibility MBBS

– Pass with minimum 50 % marks in Intermediate (Bi.P.C)

– Must Qualify in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test)

Admission Process

Admission to the MBBS programme is based on candidates’ performance in NEET. Once the NEET results are declared, then the eligible candidates are called for counselling process.
