About Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College, Aurangabad

MGM Medical College & Hospital established in January 1990. Under dynamic & visionary leadership of Shri. Kamalkishorji Kadam chairman MGM Trust, MGM Medical College & Hospital, Abad was the pioneer with the long vision and desire to set up one of the best College, Hospital and Research Centre in Maharashtra and across the country. Right now, MGM deemed university is established at Kamothe Mumbai with the blessings and strenuous efforts of hon. Dr. K. K. Kadam and his team.

MGM Medical College & Hospital is a constituent unit of MGM Institute of Health Sciences (MGMIHS) Deemed to be University, Kamothe Navi Mumbai. MGMIHS awarded Deemed University status under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 in 2006. MGM IHS Deemed to be University accredited by NAAC with A grade (3.07 CGPA on four-point scale) in 2014.

An OPAC is an online bibliography of a books can be searched based on title, author, accession, and publication etc. One OPAC terminal is available at the entrance of issue counter.

MGM Hospital and medical centre research institute is a “NABH accredited” medical college hospital. It is a leading health care organization serving the health care needs of Marathwada region since January 1990. The hospital is centrally located in a green campus. The hospital was started with a bed strength of 50 which has now expanded to 700 sanctioned beds. The hospital provides medical and surgical services along with super speciality services such as Cardiology, Nephrology, Plastic surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology. The hospital is supported with 85 beds of Intensive care units which includes Medical intensive care unit, surgical intensive care unit, cardiac intensive care unit, Paediatric intensive care unit, Neonatal intensive care unit etc.

The hospital is well supported with state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratories which includes NABL accredited Central Pathology laboratory, Radiology and microbiology services. Other supportive departments include Pharmacy, Central Stores, Hygiene sanitation dept, Civil and Bio-Maintenance Dept, Security, Liquid Oxygen Plant, Laundry and linen department etc.

Eligibility & Admission Process for Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College, Aurangabad

Eligibility MBBS

– Pass with minimum 50 % marks in Intermediate (Bi.P.C)

– Must Qualify in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test)

Admission Process

Admission to the MBBS programme is based on candidates’ performance in NEET. Once the

NEET results are declared, then the eligible candidates are called for counselling process.
