  • To integrate basic and clinical sciences with intensive clinical mentoring and community based training.

    DURATION OF M.B.B.S. COURSE:Duration of the course is 4 years and 6 months as per the Academic Calendar of GSL followed by 1 year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship. Competent Authority Seats:
    A – Category – 50% – 125 seats
    B – Category – 35% – 87 seats (B1-15% + B2-85%)
    C – Category – 15% – 38 seats

    Admission procedure:(1. Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997 amended as time to time; 2. as per GO Ms. Nos. 30 to 33 of Ministry of Health Medical & Family Welfare, Govt. of A.P.)
    Category –A seats (50% of the sanctioned intake of the seats) – Competent authority seats:- These seats shall be filled in through the counselling by the committee constituted by competent authority as per merit from the candidates who are qualified at the common entrance test, EAMCET held by the state for that year following the rules of reservation.
    Category – B seats (35% of the sanctioned intake of the seats) – NEET ranking based management seats:- The seats shall be filled through the counseling by the committee for admission constituted by APMDCMA as per the merit from the candidates who are qualified at NEET held by a third party employed for the purpose by the managements association for that year as per the procedure that may be prescribed in this regard.
    15% of B Category seats only are open to the candidates from all over the country.
    Category – C seats (15% NRI quota) – These seats shall be filled by the managements of the individual institutions or the committee of the managements based on NEET rank.

– Pass with minimum 50 % marks in Intermediate (Bi.P.C)

– Must Qualify in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test)

Admission Process

Admission to the MBBS programme based on candidates’ performance in NEET. Once the NEET results are declared, then the eligible candidates called for counselling process.
