‘Annapoorna Medical College and Hospitals’ Salem, TN, India has been approved for the final Recognition / Approval for the award of MBBS degree 150 Seat u/s 11(2) of IMC ACT 1956 as per the ‘Notification issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India’ under the direction of Board of Governors in Supersession of Medical Council of India and approved by MOHFW, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Dated 16-05-2019.

Letter of Permission to start Post Graduate Courses in Five Specialties for the Academic Year 2022-2023 been approved u/s 26(1)(a)(b), 28(1)(2) and 61(2) of the NMC Act 2019, as per the National Medical Commission- National Assessment and Rating Board (MARB), New Delhi dated 18.08.2022.

Annapoorna Medical College & Hospitals (AMCH) is a modern Medical Institution located in NH-47, 16 km. from Salem city, Tamil Nadu, amidst scenic & serene atmosphere. The sprawling campus of 45.40 3/4 acres land holds the state-of-the-art College & Hospitals. AMCH is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu DR.MGR Medical University and started in the year 2011 on approval from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Govt. Of India

AMCH is run by VMRF Trust, and the same established by Salem based Educationist and Philanthropist (Late) DR.A. Shanmugasundaram (Founder Chairman), who has been our guiding force of energy.

There are Four lecture theatres with a seating capacity of 200 each.  Two well-designed examination halls with comfortable seating arrangements for 250 students in each building are available In the hospital building, there is another lecture hall for practical lectures with a seating capacity of 200, There are 638 experienced teaching faculties working.

Eligibility & Admission Process for Annapoorna Medical College & Hospital, Salem

– Pass with minimum 50 % marks in Intermediate (Bi.P.C)
