All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur is one of the SIX AIIMS healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). AIIMS Raipur is one of the SIX AIIMS healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).

With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in underserved areas of the country. AIIMS Raipur is one of the SIX AIIMS healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).

Central Library

The Institute has an excellent Central Library spanned over 3 floors. The lower floor is for the books and general reading section, the middle is for the reading purpose while the top floor houses the state-of-the-art e-library and journal section. More than 8000 medical and nursing books and about 900 books on general topics are available in the library. Wi-Fi internet facility is available in all three floors of the library. More than 10,000+ Medical and Nursing books about 900+ general books on general topics are available in the library.

Hostel

The hostel block is located within the hospital /medical college campus and is being readied for occupation. As an interim measure, students have been accommodated in the Type II and Type III buildings in the residential campus

Eligibility & Admission Process for All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur

Eligibility MBBS

– Pass with minimum 50 % marks in Intermediate (Bi.P.C)

– Must Qualify in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test)

Admission Process

Admission to the MBBS programme is based on candidates’ performance in NEET. Once the NEET results are declared, then the eligible candidates are called for counselling process.
