Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam founding date was March 28, 1957. The training scale was minimal starting in 1975; the school could only train more than 200 doctors. Hue University of Medicine has been building and developing for almost 65 years, and especially for more than 40 years after the unification of the country. Throughout that time, the university has worked hard to fulfill its duties in scientific research, training, medical examination and treatment, and administration of grassroots medicine. Up to now, the school has trained over 12,000 postgraduate medical staff members for the Central Highlands region of the country as well as almost 30,000 doctors, chemists and bachelor’s degree holders.

There are 1,190 full-time staff members working for the School and School Hospital at the moment. There are 456 teaching staff members in the school. With the teaching staff listed above, the school currently employs 691 persons at the school and 499 at the school hospital, making up a strong team of academics with postgraduate degrees. Including 60 Professors and Associate Professors, 84 PhDs, 260 Masters, 08 BUSCKII, 04 BSCKI, 57 Senior Lecturers, 67 Main Lecturers, and 04 Main Specialists, there are 456 lecturers in all.

University training: the school provides ten full-time majors (Medicine, Dentistry, Preventive Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Testing, Medical Imaging Technology, Public Health, and Midwifery) out of 29 majors and majors in full-time and intercollegiate training; Seven majors are available in the formal transfer system: medicine, pharmacy (transfer from intermediate and college to university), nursing, medical laboratory technology, engineering, medical imaging, preventive medicine, and traditional medicine. Twelve degrees and minors (General Nursing, Obstetric Nursing, Anaesthesia and Resuscitation Nursing, Medical Testing Techniques, Medical Imaging Techniques, Public Health Add) are available under the transfer system that combines working and studying. With more than 1,500 full-time registrants each year, the university’s current full-time student body comprises over 8,500.

With technical assistance from Harvard Medical University in the United States and other top medical universities worldwide, the School is currently enhancing two important training programmes: medicine and dentistry. The University’s undergraduate and graduate training programmes will all be innovatively designed to fulfil social and economic demands while moving towards international accreditation and capacity-based integration by 2030, as per the strategy. global integration.

The school provides 101 majors for postgraduate study, of which 32 are in specialty level I, 31 are in specialty level II, and 12 are in specialty for resident physicians. PhD students have ten majors; graduate school offers sixteen. With around 1,000 students enrolled each year, the School’s graduate training scale currently numbers over 2,000 students.

The school has collaborated with more than 130 international institutions and global health organizations, carried out more than 14 international projects, and provided training in scientific research, illness treatment, and community health. Eligibility Criteria for Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam

• You need to have a high NEET score in order to apply to Hue University’s medical school.
• You need to have at least a 50% average in biology, chemistry, and physics to pass the 10+2 requirement.
• To get admitted to Hue University, you must be no older than 25 years old and 17 years old on or before December 31st of the entering year.

Admission Process for Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam

Application: Fill out the online form and upload the necessary files from Hue University. Kindly bring a copy of your report cards for grades 10 and twelve. In the 12th grade, you have to receive at least a 50% on your exams in biology, chemistry, and physics.
