VinUniversity College of Health Sciences, Vietnam first convocation ceremony took place on its stunning campus at Vinhomes Ocean Park in Hanoi, Vietnam in October 2020. Vingroup invested a total of VND 6,500 billions (or roughly USD 285 million) to establish the university.

Campus

The VinUniversity College of Health Sciences, Vietnam campus, which occupies 420 hectares overall, situated in Vinhomes Ocean Park in the Gia Lam District of Hanoi, Vietnam. Situated on 117 hectares of trees and natural areas, the campus will have a building density of just 19% and provide the perfect environment for both collaborative and self-directed study, as well as quiet reflection and inspiring beauty.

VinUniversity’s interior design, architecture, and landscaping all contribute to the best possible learner-centered environment. A highly flexible and adaptive active learning environment made possible by the design of lecture halls and classrooms. These spaces are ideal for lectures, interactive and collaborative learning models, and evidence-based techniques like simulation-based learning (SBL), project-based learning (PBL), and team-based learning (TBL).

Library

One of the most significant learning environments for students, the library is the hub of VinUniversity. The library spans two stories and 4,000 square meters of floor space. It can accommodate 1,000 pupils studying simultaneously. The library at VinUniversity is an electronic library with a large number of online databases instead of numerous actual books. The library has multiple group study rooms, two studio labs, one tech lab, and areas for students to co-study.

Lecture Hall

Professors from Oxford University (UK), Nanyang Technological University, and National University of Singapore (Singapore) provided functionality consulting; AECOM (USA) provided concept consulting. The lecture hall made up of two structures totaling 7,000 square meters in floor area. Advanced technologies applied in lecture halls and classrooms to enable team-based learning (TBL), project-based learning, action-based learning (ABL), augmented reality learning, and simulation practice methods. These spaces created with flexible and interactive characteristics. The 200-seat TBL lecture hall, one of the biggest and most contemporary in the area, is the focal point.

Auditorium

The auditorium, which can accommodate 1,500 people, is the biggest of its kind in Vietnam and on par with colleges in the surrounding area. The theater features a cutting-edge stage with three simultaneous-operating electronic screens.

Stadium

VinUniversity’s stadium can accommodate more than 1,100 people. It flanked by athletic tracks and features a 9-a-side football surface that meets FIFA standards. A tennis court and an outdoor basketball court are also present.

The dorm of the university

VinUniversity’s dorm is a four-story structure with 376 beds spread among 72 flats. It contains a single canteen that can accommodate 400 guests at once.

The dorm features a rooftop garden, a medical facility, a break-out area, and spaces for co-studying.

Internal Sports Centre

The greatest physical training facilities are available to our students at VinUniversity’s Sports Complex. Total square meters: 5,000. a 50 x 25 meter Olympic-sized swimming pool with eight lanes. An indoor sports complex featuring two studios for yoga, flashmobs, and aerobic training in addition to one gymnasium. An adaptable sports hall that may used for indoor badminton, volleyball, and basketball. The multipurpose sports hall can used as a location for community events, team-building exercises, and seminars.

Laboratories

The layout of the SuperLab makes it possible for six distinct types of laboratory lessons to take place at once. Being one of the few universities in the world to have a SuperLab, VinUni is the first in Vietnam to do so. Top-notch medical technology, on par with top international medical institutes, is available in the anatomy pathology laboratory. University of Pennsylvania offered high-quality anatomy technology and equipment, including electronic anatomy tables and German authentications. Provide higher level health science education.

Eligibility Criteria for VinUniversity College of Health Sciences, Vietnam
