NEET UG 2025 Counselling Dates Extended: Register by July 31st

The Medical Counselling Committee has extended the NEET UG Counseling 2025 Round 1. Therefore the candidate who wishes to apply for the NEET UG 2025 Counselling round can check the revised dates on the official website of MCC. 

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the choice filling deadline to July 31, 2025. Candidates can lock their choices between 4:00 PM and 11:55 PM on July 31.

Following that, seat allotment processing will take place from August 1 to August 2, 2025. The Round 1 seat allotment results are expected to be released between August 3 and August 4, 2025.

Candidates allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between August 4 and August 8, 2025 to complete the admission process.

NEET UG 2025 Registration Process

The registration process has been open from the Jul 21, 2025 the NEET UG aspirants can follow these steps to register

  • Visit the official website of MCC.
  • Click on the UG Medical Counselling section
  • Login using the NEET UG 2025 credential 
  • Fill in the application form carefully and pay the applicable counselling fee.
  • Once completed, click on ‘Submit’ and download the confirmation page.
  • Take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.

All India Quota And AIIMS Seat Details for NEET UG 2025 Counselling

The NEET UG 2025 counselling process will cover 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges across India. In addition, 17 AIIMS institutions are offering approximately 2,000 MBBS seats and 507 BSc Nursing seats across 9 campuses.

Deemed universities are also contributing significantly, with nearly 14,000 MBBS seats available for eligible candidates.

To help candidates make informed choices, the choice-filling deadline has been extended until July 31, 2025. Students can lock their preferences on the same day between 4:00 PM and 11:55 PM.

NRI Quota Document Deadline and Seat Matrix Issues

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had previously directed candidates applying under the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) quota to upload their necessary documents by July 26, 2025. The pause allowed the MCC to correct discrepancies and ensure a more transparent and accurate seat allocation process.
