NEET or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is one of the most difficult entrance exams in India, for which lakhs of students appear every year. 1. BRUSH UP ALL THE BASIC NEET CONCEPTS

The basic concepts of all the subjects, which are, physics, chemistry, zoology, and botany need to be brushed up before the examination. As students, we know our weak areas which need to be focused upon and rectified before the examination. Jot down the keywords and concepts of every chapter and use these notes for reference and revision.

2. PRACTICE REGULARLY

“Practice makes a man perfect.” Students need to practice questions for all subjects rigorously. Formulae and their application are especially important in physics and chemistry. Candidates need to well versed with concepts and their applications.

For botany and zoology, students need to have a clear understanding of various biological processes, and they must be thorough with scientific names, floral formulae, diagrams, and concepts.

3. TRAFFIC SIGNAL STRATEGY

Just like the three lights of a traffic signal, red, yellow, and green, students can use these colour codes to label topics/ concepts while revising. The topics which do not require further revision can be marked with a green colour.

The topics that require another round of revision can marked with the yellow colour, while topics that need extensive revision can be marked with the red colour. Students can also colour topics/ concepts based on priority. With only a few days left for the examination, students will be aware of topics that need to be prioritised.

4. PRACTISING PAST YEARS NEET QUESTION PAPER AND MOCK TESTS

Solving question papers from past years and appearing for timed mock tests is the best way to gain insights into the types of questions, the difficulty of questions, and the importance of topics. Before the examination, it is best that students avoid reading books repeatedly, and instead practice questions as much as possible.
