In 2005, Holy Land Private Limited and Sylhet Health and Education Services Limited joined forces to further medical education and healthcare. Together, they established Holy Sylhet Holding Limited (HSHL).
In 2007, after receiving necessary government permissions and fulfilling requirements with relevant ministries, departments, medical associations, and universities, HSHL officially inaugurated the college and hospital.
HSHL also plans to establish a Dental College and a 4-year Nursing College on its 3-acre property in the center of Sylhet City.
Currently, HSHL comprises 96 directors and 13 shareholders, with over 50% of investments coming from Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs).
