The opening of the Queen Mary, Malta Campus is testimony to both the nation’s desire to modernize and expand its healthcare facilities and the university’s vision to be a part of it.
Constructed by Steward Healthcare, the new campus was ready in October 2019, and the staff and students relocated from interim base at the Sir M.A. Refalo 6th Form College to the world-class campus on 26 October 2019. Within the same complex as Gozo General Hospital, the campus offers the students direct access to state-of-the-art facilities, such as a state-of-the-art Anatomy Centre to suit 21st-century medical education.
