New Valley Private University’s studies are to start in the 2025/2026 academic year. The university will, in its initial launch, introduce five faculties, namely the Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Agriculture, and Faculty of Languages and Humanities, in accordance with Ministerial Decree No. (…) of 2025.

The New Valley University Faculty of Medicine was formally inaugurated by Prime Ministerial Decree No. (1878) of 2020 dated 29 Muharram 1442 AH (equivalent to September 17, 2020 AD).
In accordance with Article One of this decree, the Faculty of Medicine was included in the colleges under Item Twenty-Five (New Valley University), in accordance with Article (1) of the Executive Regulations of the Universities Organization Law.
