Nakhchivan State University Faculty of Medicine “Nakhchivan State University” was originally established in 1967 as a branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute. In its early years, the Nakhchivan branch admitted 102 students across three specialties, supported by a small academic team of three members, two of whom held candidates of sciences degrees.
