About Jilin University, China

Jilin University, china (JLU), founded in 1946, located in Changchun, Jilin Province, China has 6,420 outstanding faculty members supporting its mission of research, teaching, and scholarship, offers 71,955 students a strong academic challenge in their undergraduate, master’s and doctorate study through teaching and research excellence.

JLU is a merger of six universities. On June 12^th, 2000, the former Jilin University, Jilin University of Technology, Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences, Changchun University of Science and Technology, and Changchun Institute of Posts and Telecommunications merged into the current Jilin University. On August 29^th, 2004, the former University of Military Logistics also joined Jilin University.
