City-Centre Campus

Abertay has a compact campus, right in the heart of Dundee, so all its buildings are very easy to access.

The campus is within easy walking distance of major transport links, bus and train stations, shops, cafes, restaurants, and other city amenities.

The main academic buildings are the Old College, Kydd Building, Baxter Building, and Graham Building.

The library has four floors of open-plan study space.

It gives access to a wide range of academic resources: printed books, eBooks, journals, and specialist online databases.

Recent renovation: The Library foyer has been redesigned to house the Abertay Students’ Association, creating more flexible study/social spaces and an events Amphitheatre-style area.

Inside the library is the Support Enquiry Zone (SEZ), a single point of contact for student support – counselling, study skills, financial/disability support.

Gym & Sports Facilities

There is a fully-dedicated, on-campus gym in the Graham Building.

The gym has: 14 cardiovascular machines, 15 strength stations, and training advice is available.

There are over 20 sports clubs at Abertay, covering everything from traditional sports — such as rugby and football — to more non-conventional sports, like ultimate frisbee.
