Eligibility Criteria For Admission in Aston University, Birmingham

For Indian Standard XII (CBSE/ICSE): Most programmes require around 70% overall for direct entry.

Indian State Boards: Around 90% or higher required, depending on board and subject.

Holders of a 3 year technical, polytechnic or vocational diploma after Standard 10, with approximately 70% (First Class) also be considered for direct entry into Year 1 of some programmes.

English Language Requirement

International students need to demonstrate English language standards and can be admitted with an overall IELTS score of about 6.0 or more, depending on the subject.

Prior Indian education is completely taught and assessed in English; they could be exempted from taking the English test.

All undergraduate applications are made through the UCAS system.

If students don’t meet the direct entry requirements, pathway programs such as International Foundation or International Year One are also available through ON CAMPUS.
