By July 2013, the university officially gained approval to open the Japanese Nursing Association Certified Nurse Education Course in the Surgical Nursing Field.
That same September saw the university refurbish facilities and equipment, moving the center to the 4th floor of Hyogo Medical University Building 1 and opening a new Simulation Center, state-of-the-art in every respect, designed to impart practical, hands-on clinical experience to students in controlled environments.

Certified Nurse Education Course in Surgical Nursing also commenced in October 2013, and subsequently the institution was commissioned as a training institution for part of the clinical activities in February 2017.
