Facilities And Infrastructure in University College Cork School of Medicine

1. Teaching Facilities

The medical school at UCC is extremely proud of its modern state of the art facilities. I believe that the physical environment is very important in teaching and learning. All of the buildings are new, well-designed and extremely pleasant places to learn and study in. Importantly, facilities are only a few minutes’ walk from each other and from UCC main campus, with its wonderful mix of historic old buildings and stunning new architecture.

2. Brookfield Health Sciences Complex

The medical school at UCC is located in the new, purpose-built and beautifully designed Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, which also houses the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the School of Clinical Therapies. 3. Western Gateway Complex

This stunning new complex is located beside Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, across a footbridge over the river Lee. Physiology laboratories and Pharmacology are located here, along with the FLAME Anatomy laboratory.
