All the graduates receive a state diploma.

​PROGRESS UNIVERSITY was founded in 1990. Currently, the PROGRESS is a modern university with a comprehensive infrastructure, and experienced faculty members that are nationally (and some of them worldwide) recognized specialists in different areas of medicine, professional health organizations and agencies.

THIRTY TWO years ago first 8 students were enrolled, whereas at present about 1200 students study in the University. Most of our students are citizens of foreign countries: India, USA, Great Britain, Russia, Ukraine, Jordan, Egypt and AFRICA. This is why the language of instruction is English.

Departments And Course Duration in Progress University of Gyumri Faculty of Medicine

The University awards both- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees to students.
The duration of studies is 6 years for Bachelor and 2 years for Master programs.

The Scientific council and Student Council are administrative bodies of the University.

The university offers Translation and Computer literacy training courses. Upon completion, the graduates are awarded certificates.

The legal clinic is part of the University, the activities of which are supported by USAID and coordinated by the American Bar Association.

Since 2009 the informational center of Yerevan State University has been operating at “Progress” University of Gyumri.

HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION

Progress University arranges housing facilities for all the international students in its dormitories, for their comfort. The University accommodates 1, 2 and 3 students in each room. These rooms are equipped with beds, desks, chairs, lamps, bookshelves. Shared-kitchen, toilet, shower-room are available in rooms. • You can quickly get into an PUG, if ​
• You are 17+ or below 25 on or before the date of the admission.
• You have cleared your intermediate (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects.
• You have secured 55% marks in +2.
• You belong to SC/ST/OBC category and have scored 45% in 10+2 with the same subjects mentioned above.
• You have cleared the NEET exam.
